Services We Provide

We offer a range of services tailored for children’s book authors, including:

• Manuscript editing and proofreading
• Book cover designing
• Custom illustrations
• Assistance with self-publishing across third-party platforms

All services are subject to availability and a mutual agreement between the client and ChildrensPublisher.co.uk.

Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information regarding your project
• Share only original work or work you have full rights to use
• Cooperate throughout the process and respond to feedback or queries in a timely manner
• Refrain from submitting or requesting any content that is unethical, offensive, or inappropriate for children

Content Restrictions

At ChildrensPublisher.co.uk, we are committed to maintaining ethical standards in children’s publishing. As such, we will not work on any manuscript that includes:

• Jokes or references related to addiction, abuse, or violence
• Inappropriate language, adult themes, or discriminatory material
• Any form of content deemed unsuitable for a young audience

We reserve the right to decline projects that violate these content guidelines.

Copyright and Ownership

We value your creative ownership. Therefore:

• We do not claim ownership of your manuscript, characters, ideas, or any intellectual property you share with us.
• You retain all rights to your work before, during, and after the service is completed.
• Any illustrations or designs we create specifically for your project are also transferred to you upon full payment.

Royalties Policy

ChildrensPublisher.co.uk operates under a strict royalty-free policy.

We do not take any share in the royalties or profits generated from your published book. What you earn through your sales remains entirely yours.

Publishing Support

We assist clients in preparing their manuscripts for self-publishing platforms such as Amazon KDP, Blurb, BookBaby, and others.

While we ensure your manuscript is formatted according to platform guidelines, we cannot guarantee acceptance by third-party platforms. Their publishing decisions are beyond our control.

No refunds will be issued in the case of a platform’s rejection, as we fulfill our responsibility by making your manuscript compliant.

Payments and Refunds

Payment Terms

Full payment is required upfront, depending on the scope of the service. Invoices will include clear descriptions of charges and due dates.

Refund Policy

We strive to deliver high-quality service and client satisfaction. However, refunds are subject to the following terms:

• Editing and Designing Services: Refunds are calculated based on the portion of work completed. If work has commenced, partial refunds (if applicable) will be issued accordingly.
• Publishing Services: No refunds will be provided once the publishing process has begun. Platform-based rejections do not qualify for a refund.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected] and will be processed within 5 to 7 business days.

Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure quality and accuracy, ChildrensPublisher.co.uk is not liable for:

• Losses incurred due to publishing delays or third-party platform policies
• Any copyright issues arising from content you provide
• Typographical or design errors not reported during the approval phase

Revisions and Modifications

We allow a specific number of revisions as part of our editing and design services, clearly mentioned in your service package. Additional revisions outside the project scope may incur extra charges.

We also reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.

Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate our services in cases of:

• Breach of these Terms
• Non-payment or chargeback of fees
• Submission of prohibited content

In such cases, no refund will be issued for completed work.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the UK courts.
